d'you know that NSW has had the same laws in place for years?
this is not a Labor thing but a State Govt matter.
it was due to Gladys and Brad Hazzard making all the decisions that covid infections spread like wildfire early in the delta outbreak. it was only slowed by Morrison directing Vic vaccines to NSW and then Glad and Brad got to work.
but the fact remains, when it comes to matters that require truly expert knowledge and experience, it should not be left to politicians.
an expert panel including the three main medical disciplines and economists and legal would be best placed to make such decisions.
