The greens gain voters even though they are the biggest crazy hypocrites around.

Nationals are only slightly less crazy than the greens.

More independent candidates will rise up in the senate, until the duopoly make it harder and harder to register small parties and independents.

They will squeeze any competition out, they won't give up their grip on power.

Meanwhile the endless arguments over blue team vs red team, of which I admit I also get sucked into, will continue.
