    when labor replaced rudd with gillard - back in 2010 - the following is relevant

    "On the weekend before Rudd was removed, the ALP's primary vote was 35 per cent, satisfaction with Rudd as prime minister was 36 per cent with dissatisfaction at 55 per cent and Rudd led Abbott as preferred prime minister by 46 to 37 per cent."

    labor can forget about winning - but if the primary vote can get back to 35%, then they will save some seats
