I'm not sure if your memory goes back that far, but Howard began to campaign for the GST at the end of his first term of government. This is after promising to "never, ever" introduce the GST in the 1996 election campaign.
Let me guess, this doesn't affect your opinion at all? I'm sure there are lots of other made up reasons why you hate the Labor party...
