According to Peter Van Onselen on Skynews, Rudd now has a bit under 50 caucus votes.

Van Onselen reckons there is a 50% chance of an engineered Rudd comeback next week. By this he means that one of his supporters ie Joel Fitzgibbon could challenge and this would then open up the voting by caucus.

One thing is for sure, Gillard won't go without spraying a lot of blood and guts around.
