Yes, interestingly Richo sees it differently to Kelly from the Australian. He reckons Rudd would rather frame the budget in a fashion he believes he could sell rather than inheriting god knows what from Gillard and Swan. Hence he needs to be in the top job soon.
Kelly on the other hand was of the opinion Rudd would rather Gillard and Swan own their own mess of promises ect and Rudd come in as a white knight and right the wrongs.
It does sound more feasible for Rudd to come in as a new (alright, slightly used) broom sweeping clean and setting a different/his own agenda as in the Richo scenario.
I forget which scribe it was that opined the present caucus as possibly the dumbest/stupidest to ever represent the SWFU. Amen to that.
