Hello Debono, your last sentence makes good sense. I suppose I can only add that ten+ years is too long for key leadership positions. This is ususally the case in business also. Regeneration is necessary in this very competitive and ever changing world. Also, it doesnt mean the end of ones career political or business career as most including Howard and Hawke can have a meaniningful role in some capacity. Otherwise they can become volunteers in a range of worthwhile activities as do many hundred of thousands of Australians accross the country. A stint with meals on wheels ought to be compulsory with all politicians also, as it would open their eyes in a real way to the plight of those less fortunate than themselves, many through no fault of their own.
