I wish there was a giant vaccuum cleaner, to suck up the whole lot. Then they could start afresh, from the ground up. If it took 15 years it would be worth it, just to attain decency, and earn the public's respect.
What do we do when our old bed, which sags, is worn out, and we need support and comfort. It's still adequate, but if we can afford it we go out and buy a new one. We don't wheel in another old bed. With all due respect to Mr. Crean, it's just more of the same if he's installed.
This is not age discrimination - it's just fact.
There is too much entrenched "smell' around this lot. Get rid of it - show some pride and courage - knock down the old one - and build a new and better one.
But who am I to advise them. They can stew in their own juice for all I care. Bring on justice! And REAL transparency.
We're seeing history in the making here. Wonder if there'll be a mini-series - about 10 years down the track.
