I would be interested to read any research if it's available, that demonstrates that the introduction of plain packaging legislation has correlated to a drop in smoking rates.
I think the restrictions on smoking in pubs and restaurants etc. has made a big impact.
I believe you also cannot smoke in some beach areas.
