Interesting today compared to the past research it seems has identified alcohol as the MOST dangerous of the two where mouth/throat cancers are concerned....mouthwashes have quietly disappeared the alcohol from their product this last few years.....will we see later the same lawful witch hunts as true knowledge grows?
The old pick the easiest/loudest/most profitable belief but forget all other inputs human rote behavior dies hard...it's a quandary for our regulators...admit that many of the diseases blamed have been lost to tobacco for alcohol under science so then admit they just made it up as a conveniently recognizable demon or start banning/plain packaging for all alcohol products....to keep the socially predatory industry ticking along.
Just how the two drugs split in all relevant disease is yet to be thrashed out but it's been looking like for years now if one is to smoke but not drink and it becomes a gamble worth considering...science admits to having not a very good clue and it never has had a clue it seems ...gotta love the 'of unknown etiology' pictures place on plain packaged cigarettes...dogma and religion it's the human predominate human condition in driving all social engineering industry's.
I was a smoker in my 20s and I did a phone research on health and smoking status with the results to be announced to me as part of taking part.....the results where never forwarded i wondered why and later learned the results did not reflect the aim of the agency..smokers where the healthiest cohort.... so they all must have lied lol.
