What a complete turn-around and farce. Pre-election they wanted to reduce or even ban coal and gas and progressively close down the power stations. And now, nearly a month after the elections, they are proposing subsidising power stations that use oil and gas to overcome power shortages. Reality has hit home with a mighty thud. Total bunch of idiots and as for those who supported them and voted for them ( and the Greens/Teals) based on climate activism, guess what, coal and gas usage is now about to increase under Labor, and if you think its only a short term measure, think again, this will continue and with coal/gas subsidies ( which will mean more tax imposts on the population) for years if not decades to come. What say you Labor / Teal supporters now that its all backfired on you.
