Once again a big spending election trumps a moderate spending platform.
The ALP strategy on debt is pretty clear. They plan to run debt up to well over 100+% GDP. At each election they will then attack the LNP for trying to pay off debt or at least trying to balance the budget.
The growing army of unsophisticated voting automatons who will always vote for freebies are putty in the hands of the big spenders.
