We were considering buying a business a couple of years ago, but decided it wasn't worth it with a labor government in power.

I still get emails from brokers and one the other day admitted that there has been a massive slow down in businesses selling and that business confidence has not returned.

Although the broker was suggesting this is the time to buy, I would not want to be owning a new business with a carbon tax around the corner. Too many unknowns.

I think we are already headed in the direction of the "neadrathals" and agree with Stepden that the roll is headed straight for a ditch - and a big one at that.
