In some ways I agree - yes you are correct there is a problem with both sides and this is not new for me to state. This is why I don't like any of them particularly and Howard just confirmed the main problem.

We have a severe stench on this current lot (ALP) and proven incompetence - therefore a change is absolutely vital. A third term would be catastrophic. And maybe we will be booting the Libs next time and I will be complaining about them instead. Anybody hurting my fellow Aussies deserves a big stick IMO. For me to support the ALP you would need a change in structure and a new guard with life experience.

For now I believe we have to be better off without the ALP and have to take our chances. Hopefully things will change in politics as the rest of the economy downsizes and given the nice pay rise Gillard awarded herself for the damage she has done - we might get a better crop coming in from the private sector gradually - hope so :-(
