Your suggestion is difficult.

Those employers paying at the lower end of the awards already can't get Australians to take the jobs (eg fruit picking) because there is too little incentive over the dole. They rely on backpackers and South sea islanders. Australians want mining company pay and conditions to take a job.

The increased dole will make this problem worse. While we pay people so well to stay home and our electricity is the most expensive in the world we won't be able to compete.
