DONT forget, that YOU, as a low/middle income earner, will be compensated, probably MORE than you would actually spend on your "macca's" diet.
Forget the current Inflationary climate ( World Wide ) - and rising FOOD prices = Dont even quote a CPI number, please.... REAL inflation for families is RIFE, atm = ask anyone who controls the family weekly budget.
There is NO stopping increasing Inflation = it IS an inevitable outcome from the GFC fall out.... Carbon Tax is simply an Additive to MORE inflation - BTW - The LIBERALS also agree with a Carbon "TAX" = just a Different version ....:)
Invest in GOLD stocks... Cover your increasing costs.
