You were born in 1947 which means you have lived through a few labor govts and managed to successfully run a small business during both the Hawke/Keating and Howard/Costello years, perhaps even the Fraser/Howard era also.
Whether you are a labor/liberal voter is irrelevant to me but you would have to be bitterly disappointed with the current crop of goons running this nation after living, as myself through competent governance in the past.
I fail to see how anyone from either side of the fence can condone the proposed carbon tax without fighting their common senses.
This tax, at the very least, must have a mandate before it is legislated, otherwise we may as well kiss democracy in this nation well and truly goodbye.
