Good post - exactly why I said for Tony to hold his course - deep down Australians respect people who make the tough decisions for the future.

Tony will never convert the leftists but he will certainly get to the silent majority which he effectively did at the last election.

Everyone is trying to bring him down at present with any excuse to cause personal pain or ridicule - the problem with this approach is that twelve months down the track providing his team hold their course Labor will be left in his wake.

The Labor party strategies are in disarray - they think they can succeed by this type of opposition - sadly, they will never succeed in the future until they acknowledge their abysmal handling of the economy.

Mishandle the future of Australia by being in denial, the silent majority will treat you accordingly.
