The biggest problem with the NBN is the constant scaremongering lies perpetrated by those that don't know the details.
It's just logic Yeldub. You can't have it both ways. You can't have a $43bill spend (and overruns) and expect services to be cheaper, not unless the gocrenment is going to subsidise it, in which case its not a $43bill spend.
There is no doubt whatsoever in my mind that services will be more expensive. It's not profitable otherwise. Personally I am OK with this, I can afford it, and I would welcome super speeds.
My argument is there are alot better ways to achieve the same goals and much cheaper. Why would the government not welcome a review by an independent body?
