yes - Ben - we need people power.

But Aussies seem to be walking around in a zombied, "she'll be right" haze. Gillard seems to think we are all mesmerized by her as some sort of "personality".
I am more mesmerized by how, despite such mediocrity, she got herself into this job. But then I look at the Windsor/Oakeshott comedy combo and the reality hits.

Shopping, beer, football, races, keeping up with the Joneses wih our too expensive cars and too big houses and (often) high maintenance trophy wives/husbands, mind-numbing infantile TV shows and self-interested materialism seem to be dumbing us all down.

Sadly, perhaps the pennies will drop when it's too late.

Or can Aussies still think for themselves beyond all the guff the media are feeding us?

Once our young Aussies took bullets for us so we could enjoy our freedoms in years to come. Freedoms which are now being taken away from us, and we are being told what to do and how to live by arrogant, ill-mannered second rate socialist dictators.

Now she's doing YET ANOTHER of her famous back-flips by deciding she is, after all, in favor of gay marriage.
What an utter hypocrite. How anyone can have any respect for her is beyond me.
She's agree with ANYTHING just to stay in power.
