Prior to the issuing of writs for the 2022 Victorian Election roughly a week ago, opinion polls had variously found Daniel Andrews's Labor Government leading 2PP by anything from 60:40 to 56:44.

That support appears to have slipped, albeit earlier [polls found up to 27% of voters were either 'Undecided' or lukewarm in their declared support for candidates.

The first week of Victoria's official election campaign has been dominated by The Herald Sun's "We H8 Daniel Andrews" propaganda war. From the Liberal Party's possibly illegal Andrews Ambulance to widely promoted hecklers / gatecrashers at Andrews's televised press conferences and attempts by The Age to discredit and undermine Victoria's IBAC, Andrews has copped a fair old pasting.

Despite the brutal attack on his wife throughout the last week, Andrews still leads Matthew Guy as Preferred Premier 52:33 - as reported below:
