I've followed politics closely since the Whitlam days. I've come to the view that every young person needs to experience a federal Labor government .... ONCE.
It's like a toddler touching something hot. Once is usually enough to learn from your mistakes.
I'm actually surprised to see there are any Labor acolytes here on HC. I would have thought making money from equities markets was anathema to the faithful - at least until they leave politics, put their ideals away into a cupboard and make a motza as capitalists - like Bob and Paul or Terry McKenroth in Qld. Hypocrites!
