Representation of the masses has always been the last consideration of the elite few that prosper by feeding a few breadcrumbs to the peasants to keep them in line. Naive perhaps, but a society that recognises the inherent value that is forgone by cultivating a discriminatory hierarchy is achievable. It is so sad that even today, in the marvels of technology and the advancement of civilisation, this conversation has not been resolved.
