    "A perfectly good reason to deny the population a real education."

    Of course there is. Dissent is better avoided. There is also a general confusion that limits knowledge to the education system.

    History abounds with events where propaganda disguised as knowledge, limited to a prescribed narrative has aroused the population in the intended direction. A study of Germany leading into World War 2 is informative. Recall "weapons of mass destruction"?

    Optimistically, is the hope that the future addresses the inequalities that prevents humans to flourish.
