Rudd snuck under the radar in winning the 2007 election. The media never realy exposed the "real" Kevin Rudd as they attempt to do with all other opposition leaders.
He was never quizzed on policies he was just a "me too" policy machine. Even in his PM term he has been left alone by the media. If his name was John Howard his muck ups would be front page news every day.
The media have a lot to answer for. They claim they are there to create accountability. I would say they are self serving for their own agenda and creating their own power castle.
Why do we not start a campaign to make 21st May anti media day.
If everyone refuses to watch news on electronic media and refuses to buy a newspaper on 21st May we may send a message that we expect better from our journalist and not the rubbish Kerry O'Brien and Tony Jones etc. serve up!
