    There wasn't just one head contractor like Transfield providing the OHS/ supervision/management for 20%.
    That was just the beginning...

    The point missed was the original pricing was so over inflated, it was a disgrace on m2 rates, and they would subcontract out, and then again, take cut, subcontract and by the time you got to the actual contractor, there could be 3-4 levels of "oversight"...for buildings that didn't need it. They were bloody halls, meeting rooms, libraries, indoor sports facilities. Tin portal sheds.

    I know this also as one day, a "subcontractor" did an inspection, and inspected the "OHS" inspection which was just completed 15 minutes prior. This was on a 60m2 "shed" and walkway. $300k.

    Anyone deigning the waste and poor value for money have their heads up their arses.
