IMO Labor can't go to the polls with a pro U policy, if they do they'll polarise the voters in favor of the status quo - same as the disasterous liberals/Hewson GST policy. And Jonny,s too shrewd to make major changes in policy so close to an election.
But that doesn't mean the labs won't do the GST quick step and impliment something pro U at a later date.
