    Thats the problem, its not a tax break for couple A, don't portray it as one. Its a monetary gift granted by a bad law that allowed untaxed company profits to be distributed.
    Now the law may change.

    Couple B is generating wealth and paying tax. They get the tax break.

    Reality is governments change the law and someone gets the stick. They changed my pension age to 70 so I can fund the continuation of these 'tax breaks', who knows what it will be when I retire.

    No tears for me so no tears from me for them. (Even for my parents who I know will be affected)

    Untaxed company profits have been the scourge of the tax pool for a long time. This will be a step to address it.
