Yes the on-going changes to super create a nightmare for retirement planning. Both Liberal and Labor gov'ts do it as I recall many here going berserk when the coalition made some changes last year. Unfortunately neither Party in earlier changes was able to create a final fair and equitable system with each tinkering making it more difficult for some retirees. They should have left the original Keating system the focus of which was super to provide for retirement rather than amending it as happened from Howards days when they turned it into a tax haven for the extremely wealthy. So more tinkering has occurred since then and still no equitable solution. Now we have Labor having a go. Last year it was the changes by the Coalition that posters were screaming about!
