These clowns in Canberra can make a difference...but they choose not to, simple as that. Utilities such as water supply and power supply should always be a Government role. The fact these total fools have sold much of the infrastructure and power generators to grab the cash to spend on themselves is the core of the problem we face today.

Why would a company, Public or Private when they are in a monopoly position drop prices or even consider being fair to consumers?
They paid out, they bought the utilities, they will profit as they please. No stupid Royal Commission such as the useless time wasting Greens want will make a spec of difference.
What would these flogs do if they found some price gouging going on? Shut down the power station until they drop their prices...ROFL!

In my opinion it aint gonna change. No body in either Government has the guts to stand and defy the garbage that is fed every day by the loony Greens, environmentalists, and the nutty Global Warming crowd.
