And as far as the "rort" getting changed, you do realise this "well" thought out policy that accumulated net rental losses can be offset against the capital gain, so just how much is it going to save?
Sorry to bring any fiscal intelligence into the conversation, I understand that politics doesn't allow for it, keeping the population dumb with populist politics is still the modus operandi.
