Valid point mate. Hopefully most people can understand a solar investment is simply prepaying their electricity bill and at a point in the future it will have paid for itself and the output becomes free. Although statistically some people do not have access to even $500 in an emergency so yes this could be difficult for them. Ironically those same people are happy to spend (how much is it these days?) $7 for a coffee per day amongst other things.
