There is no such thing as shortage of skilled workers in Australia, not even in Chile where the IQ level and quality of schools and universities are much lower. The workers with the best quality/price ratio are in China and Japan and I only see a significant decline of skilled immigrants from East Asia recently which clearly shows the immigration polity is greed and geopolitically driven.
