was just listening to Gillard (I think..) on radio. She says that the party will support Rudd's vision to see the three mines policy overturned, but the final decision will still be left to the states. i.e. the states can still refuse to allow U mining if they wish.

So sort of a compromise position looks like being adopted.

WA (Carpenter) still very against U mining. So it will require a change of government over there.
