Do you really think the Libs will risk going to the election even if the polls show they may lose? I don't think they are that dumb.

Polls have been a pretty good predictor, just a week or so ago they showed that labor would gain nearly 10 points if Rudd was leading. Not hours after Rudd took the leadership polls confirmed that.

Abbott will have to debate Rudd at some point and we know that giving unscripted responses is not a strong point for him.
