The policies are confounding
in that
they are impossible to implement.
"Expenses incurred in earning income" are tax deductible.
That sets negative gearing in stone.
Tax has to be paid on profit but
"tax is only payable once on the profit"
That stuffs the dividend dills who want tax paid twice on the same profit.
Fuel tax is to pay for roads, so if you drive your machine on your own land
not wearing out communal bitumen, you don't pay road fuel tax.
It's not a subsidy, like the subsidised trams and trains the city dwellers get.
