So Liberals have been in power for 44 years compared with Labor's 17 years.
So Menzies and Fraser had recessions whilst Whitlam and Hawke had recessions. Plus Liberals had two technical recessions (which tend to be very shallow recessions)
So the recessions are tilting against the Liberals slightly.
Now am I missing something cause back in my day 44 was a number far greater than 17!!!!!!
Is it me missing something or is it the original poster with both eyes closed and over looking the obvious.
