Labor faces the same conundrum as Labour in the UK and Democrats in the USA. Choose between supporting their traditional base of blue collar, lower and lower middle socio-economic groups OR the new age trendoids in inner cities. They cannot satisfy both groups as they have nothing in common and loathe each other. We have seen in recent elections in the US, Australia and UK what happens when these Parties make the wrong choice and support the wrong group.
Labor/Labour are slow learners it seems. They need to get back to grass roots.
