"The Liberal Party trashed the economy as a management strategy for dealing with COVID."

Too right. After preaching the value of money ad infinitum they went crazy. Yet they are protected by the majority of their voters and the media. We had options which wouldn't have jeopardised people's health and put us on a much better path. But, if power is all that matters, you can spend borrowed money and postpone the consequences til after the next election. Just need to have a cosy relationship with the media to keep the people in the dark.
