Labor has handed down it's costings and claims that it will be paid for by taxing the big end of town ie. the companies that don't pay tax in Australia. These loopholes exist under international business law. Labor will not be able to change this

So their budget figures immediately don't stack up.
Secondly, Labor did not release the total cost to our economy of the move to 50% renewables by 2030. So we do not know how much higher our bills will be, how many more blackouts, lost production, and how many more manufacturers will go overseas. We also don't know how much more everything will rise as energy becomes dearer.
These two points will create a massive financial black hole - not the larger surplus than Liberal that Labor are claiming.
