A beloved father survived years of imprisonment and a death march only to be executed on the 27th August,1945. Well after the Japs had surrendered.
We knew of the plan to attempt rescue of the remaining troops but did not know that these plans were sabotaged by our own citizens.(if you can call them that)
I hope there is a special place in hell for those men responsible for these actions. It makes me sick to the stomach.
