well, you got what you paid for over the last 50 years of conservative running of government
you now have the results of the Howard era of architecture -
no educated people - a dramatic shortage
skills and trades - crisis shortage
no one to pick crops and work farms - decades of abuse of workers seen to this
no one to work in age care and health - again, gotta be imports
these things just don't pop up 'this year' ------- these things are baked in
all you are seeing is the cake coming out of the oven - it was mixed for years and the ingredients short changed for decades
what you see now is the fruits of your 'cost cutting' 'running lean' 'low debt' 'user pays'
for decades ----------------- what you are seeing is a collapse in many parts of society
whilst some held Australia up as - wonderful, look how low our national debt is compared to other places -
what they failed to see was that it was so because Australia didn't invest - it didn't house it's own, it can't now feed it's own, it didn't and can't keep it's people healthy and it sure as hell didn't train and educate it's population -
so - it HAS to import people
doctors, nursing aids, aged care workers, factory workers, farm workers - it goes on and on and on
if you think this is just 'all Albo's fault' ------ that only tells us that you missed out on an education too -------- because, you can't even grasp in the slightest how we got to where we are now
and - it is NOT rocket science
where were you in supporting me 6 and 7 years ago when I wrote about the housing crisis coming - it HAD to be under the Liberals????
