what was he wrong about? he designed the way of governing and politics which has gutted Australia's foundations -
he 'saved' when he should have spent - and spent a LOT. And his architecture of it forced Labor into a 'race to the bottom' ----------- I can cut bigger than you can cut.

Oz will go on - but, it will go down a path of pain and poverty ------- it WILL be forced into a totally difference economic model - as will all other places in the world
the problem for Oz is that it's foundations for such change - are almost non existent - and it will be dragged kicking and screaming into new concepts - concepts that it should be experimenting with already, but isn't
it will follow others - like it does now, but unfortunately it hasn't seen and in the main, cannot see that many of the others - the truly successful ones - have fundamentally different cultures and beliefs --
it's really all over, way to late to grab back 40 years of hindsight
