nope

they haven't even woken up from the lesson when SCOMO doubled the dole - and had a fantastic result ------------ they STILL come on and say that the dole is too much and anyone who gets money for free becomes a beach bum

they STILL don't get it even when their own mob doubled it and got a 'miracle' economy

Howard - who is a tad brighter than the average peanut and wackadoodle we see on here -

took 40 YEARS to work out that he was wrong -------- 40 bloody years

what was he wrong about? he designed the way of governing and politics which has gutted Australia's foundations -

he 'saved' when he should have spent - and spent a LOT. And his architecture of it forced Labor into a 'race to the bottom' ----------- I can cut bigger than you can cut.

Howard said - 'we thought we'd be alright if we just watched the spending' 'we were wrong'

well, really? 40 bloody years to work out that a nation is NOT built by cut cut cut, save save save, don't invest and have as low a debt and taxes as you can

40 years to work out that no nation has ever been build with that very very very stupid thinking

if it takes 40 years for a bloke like Howard to twig to it ----

the wackadoodledoo and peanut brigade - will NEVER work it out

Oz will go on - but, it will go down a path of pain and poverty ------- it WILL be forced into a totally difference economic model - as will all other places in the world

the problem for Oz is that it's foundations for such change - are almost non existent - and it will be dragged kicking and screaming into new concepts - concepts that it should be experimenting with already, but isn't

it will follow others - like it does now, but unfortunately it hasn't seen and in the main, cannot see that many of the others - the truly successful ones - have fundamentally different cultures and beliefs --

it's really all over, way to late to grab back 40 years of hindsight
