It's not so black and white. Dick's arguments are more nuanced. He thinks migration numbers should be reduced for instance, (because high numbers make life harder for those looking to buy a house).
With dividend imputation he reckoned in the past that there should be a means test because he thought it ridiculous that he got a half a million dollar credit.
Other people reckon the solution to high rents and house prices is to somehow build much more social housing thus bringing supply and demand into balance.
