I'm not up to speed with WA politics, yet if you can slice away why WA is so flush with cash while other states are struggling under the weight of debt then perhaps slice off McGowan's terms and concentrate on Cook, as this seems to pertain to new spending.
I accept that everything every govt reports is 90% propaganda for promotion of voters support. no Govt can be trusted. many Govts announce spending, eg. funding to move Lismore flooded homes to higher ground, which often come to nought.
did you notice the enormous spending by the LNP NSW Govt pre-covid? trams bought from Sth Korea and businesses destroyed during the build of the system in 4 major economic centres. along with a business monopoly created for running the system.
