Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk announced the government had finalised the contract for the hotel, which will be for people at risk of homelessness or fleeing family and domestic violence.
Last month's state budget included $64.3 million for the purchase and lease of emergency accommodation facilities in Brisbane.

so its an ongoing policy to provide low cost rentals and cheap homelessness shelter accomodation.
