I think the big news today is out West where the ALP are having some troubles with an ex. Premier and the gf of Kevin Reynolds who happens to be a sitting member. Maybe thats why the usual suspects are quiet...........

Apart from that, glad Mr Rudd had his launch here in Queensland and that he'll be buying my four kids a computer each. He'll also be taking responsibility for fixing all the hospital problems and doing a better job with the economy ie. interest rates. Some of us hope that means interest rates take off as that means more income etc. etc.

But the big talk up here today was the fear the Cape York will be closed off to mining if the ALP take office. The Indigenous community alerted the media to this and they are not happy. Rings true though and it wouldn't surprise to see environmental issues starting to get in the way of other mining projects, particularly out west. Hmmmmmm.
