You have fairness the wrong way around.
Becuase I worked all my life and now live on my own superanuation you think its fair that my savings and property should get the crap taxed out of it when my children get it in the will???
How is that fair, I payed my taxes, I still pay tax when taking my super money which was taxed on the way in as well.
You people who havent worked for long enough or didnt bother to do the hard years now think its fair if the hard workers who saved give their money to you.
You are right Australia is not like the failed bankrupt states in the EU where its people avoided tax most of their lives and sent their country broke and when the government came looking for money they all left the country.
In Australia tax has always been collected.
Because other people have more than you do you should not scorn them and be jealous of that.
