This is an interesting article which compares the Nissan Leaf, Toyota Corolla ICE & Toyota Corolla Hybrid CO2
emissions in each state with the Nissan Leaf CO2 varying per State depending on how the electricity is generated.

The Labor home solar panel/community battery scheme is good for the Nissan Leaf type of EVs but
an economic disaster for both State and Commonwealth revenue.

The question has to be asked: who is going to pay for roads & transport infrastructure to compensate
for the EV revenue tax forgone + the Commonwealth Grants.

While this Labor scheme may gain a few Yuppie votes, that will be countered in multiples by the masses
who will be lumbered with extra taxes.. IMO.
